Quality Guarantee of Cool-or-Heat Thermoelectric Cooling Module

Quality and reliability are the major concerns by Cool-or-Heat LLC's engineers even at the very beginning of design stage of our products. The cooling material has two shielding layers for guarding against the diffusion of harmful elements. The module is to pass through moisture protection treatment two times to assure no moisture enters into it and to prevent the retrogression of the module's performance. The module has more than ten quality control check points throughout the production process, and through strict testing and selection, this guarantees the quality and reliability of our thermo-electric products.

A test by the National Special Test Center shows that Cool-or-Heat LLC's Thermo-Electric module's lifetime has reached up to 300,000 hours. The Thermo-Electric modules have passed the severe test of alternating the cooling and heating processes within a very short timeframe. The method is to put the module on a test-bed and subject it to electric current for 6 seconds, then pause 18 seconds, then subject it to the opposite current for 6 seconds and then after another 18 seconds a new cycle begins. During the test, the current is adjusted to make the hot side temperature reach 125 at the end of every 6 seconds. The change between heating and cooling repeats 900 times and the total testing time is 12 hours.
